Varusaburoso

Varusaburosu:

This is a monster that appears in Monster Hunter Frontier.

According to lore, Varusaburosu's ancestor was once a desert dwelling Flying Wyvern. (possibly related to Diablos) This Desert underwent a long drought, and the Varusaburosu migrated to a volcanic area. It evolved into what it is today, and has never left, due to a cactus it likes that only grows in that area.

I think it would be fun to build a monster hunter team with me and a few of my friends. My one friend uses hammer, my little brother uses longsword, I use Charge Blade.
I got them all into Monster Hunter in the first place. Maybe I am a bad influence.

Dreadqueen Armor

So I decided to sit down and farm some Dreadqueen Rathian last night, long story short, I spent most of the night playing Monster Hunter and fought 17 Dreadqueens. I have the set almost fully level 6, looking forward to unlocking the Dreadqueen soul! I am also building it's Charge Blade on the side.

My Top Ten Favorite Monsters

Hi everybody, I see it is relatively popular to list off one's favorite and least favorite monsters from the Monster Hunter Series. I have a few Monsters that are particularly near and dear to my heart and they are.....
Stygian Zinogre: This is a powerful subspecies of Zinogre with a striking white and black hide and an affinity for Dragon Element. It collects Thunderbugs which have been feeding on Dragonfell Berries and it is this that gives it its powerful aura of Dragon Element. It looks amazing, is a fun and challenging fight, and has some amazing armor....What's not to like??
When I first fought Ukanlos, I honestly hated him, the insane chip damage and homing swim attacks were an absolute pain to deal with. I liked his armor though, and forced myself to farm him until I got the full set and some fully upgraded weapons. This constant battling against him was enough to change my heart towards the "White God". I really love his design and his theme, and his armor is badass.
The Goldbeard Ceadeus was the Urgent Quest to reach G-rank in MH3U, and similar to Ukanlos, I hated him at first. He was a chore to fight, and I had negative water resistance on my best armor. I eventually made his full set, which was badass-looking, with nice all around skills. I also discovered that he was really good for zenny farming, and he rapidly became a favorite after that.

I remember my very first encounter with a Rathian, back when I was just getting into the game. It absolutely destroyed me and had me scared to go back. But I persevered, and brought the beast down. I've always loved Rathian since. Even though I never make much of her equipment, I still hunt her often, due to her easily readable moves, I find her a fun hunt to relax with after Alatreon or something.
This one's probably a surprise for some people. I've noticed that very few Hunters actually like Gigginox. I love him, though. He has a very interesting design, is challenging to hunt, and requires you to think ahead. The MH3U Tundra Theme is pure awesomeness as well. Not only that, but look at his equipment!
Tell me that isn't badass!

Gore magala was a monster I rapidly fell in love with in MH4U. The story and build up to his fight was amazing, and he just felt like a real antagonist. I love his moveset, and find him to be another relaxing hunt, like Rathian. Lately I've taken to hunting him with my Boomerang Prowler in Generations.
Zamtrios has an incredibly unique design, and I really love fighting him with a lance. He is a relatively easy fight, and has a unique moveset that really sets him apart. A fun monster with some nice gear.
This guy is brutal. I carted so many times, and officially sucked at fighting him. I really love his design, his armor, his weapons.....etc.. I am so glad he made a comeback in MHGen. Now to solo him with a cat..............
Gogmazios was, in every way, a final boss... Insane HP? Check. Awesome Theme? Check. Cool Armor? Check. I loved the fight against him. and I wish he was in Generations.
My all-time favorite Monster is Barioth.....hands down.
I first fought him in the arena in MH3U, the battle was so epic, the monster so amazing, and his moveset made me respect his boundaries. I loved him from the start. I built his full G-Rank Armor set (solo) and then never used it. Barioth was the monster which inspired me to keep on trying. (even when Plesioth just hipchecked me.........again.)

These are my top ten favorite Monsters in the Monster Hunter series. I will be making a list of my top ten least favorite in the near future.

It's time for me to master a new weapon, so here's the plan! I write down the names of all the weapons I never use, throw them in a hat, shake them up and randomly pick one........

HAMMER!!!!!

Stop! Hammertime!
Well, I guess my huntress will be smashing heads for the next few hundred hours.
I guess I'll meander over to youtube and learn the controls so I don't embarrass myself too badly.

Monster Hunter Generations-Roulette Wheel- BAD SPIN!

SoHellkite just posted a roulette video! I love watching these!
The Rathalos and Rathian Deviant female armors are beautiful!

So who's looking forward to Monster Hunter Double Cross?

Welcome to the Guild

Hello Fellow Hunters!!
This is Guild Knight, I am a huge fan of the monster hunter series and have been playing since MH3U, though I am currently in the process of backing up and collecting the older games to play. My ultimate ambition is to someday play every Monster Hunter game that's been released. I am currently working on Monster Hunter Generations and I am nearly to HR 100, with 250 hours of gameplay. what you are gonna see on this blog is really anything Monster Hunter related, whether it's lore, music, skills, or what have you...

My Main weapons are Charge Blade, Long Sword and Lance, but I am challenging myself to play with more weapons and master each. I am pretty scrubby with Heavy Bowgun and Dual Blades, though.

I had a 3DS malfunction last year and lost my full progress on MH3U and MH4U, I lost my 1000+ hours of save data, and am currently starting over from the beginning.

Anyway, expect lots of Monster Hunter content on here.
